5/26/20:Second Update Regarding  Re-opening

As stated previously, On May 18th, the Governor released the "Re-Opening Massachusetts" phased guidelines.  Within those guidelines, it is being allowed that barber shops may reopen with extensive restrictions.
Included in those restrictions are that barber shops must only operate by appointment only.  Services are limited to haircuts only (no beards, no eyebrow trims, etc.).  There is to be no waiting area.  Customers must provide private information for the purpose of contact tracing, Personal Protective Equipment must be worn by the barber and the customer, customers capes and barber jackets must be change after every customer, etc.
Based on many factors, including the above and in consideration of my customers' health and well being, it is my decision to not open at this time.
I will review this decision as the state approaches "Phase Two" of the plan and I will update the status of the shop at that time. I won’t be scheduling any appointments until there is a confirmed open date.

In the meantime, I wish you, your family and friends good health.  Stay safe and I look forward to seeing you soon, Susan
